This set of prayer beads (nenju) makes use of both crystal and seeds from a bodhi tree. The metal settings shaped like treasure wheels (rinbō) for the beads descending from the loop (moshu) reveal exquisite craftsmanship. The beauty of the subtle metalwork complementing the crystal beads makes this set especially remarkable. (The tassels and string are later replacements.)
