The goddess Benzaiten in a form with eight arms emerges from this kakebotoke. Usually, the two front arms of the eight-armed form of this deity hold a sword in the right hand and a treasure jewel in the left. In this version, the deity holds a biwa lute. This work represents an incredibly rare iconography that combines the two-armed form of the goddess who holds the biwa and the eight-armed form.
