This is a copy of a document submitted to the imperial court by Tōdaiji temple to justify its claim in a dispute of the ownership of an estate. This copy was transcribed on the reverse of an undatedregistry of plots of land in the province of Tōtōmi, and the imprint of the seal of the repository of the province covers each paper join on this side.
