This test piece for a scroll roller has a small six-petal flower done in marquetry on the head of the flaredroller ends. From the style suggests it is an adaption of the central portion of the marks on the top board of the Red Sandalwood Sugoroku Board with Marquetry(Shōsō-in treasure, North Section 37).
