This work was carefully modeled by the gilt-bronze pagoda which was built by the priest Eison of Saidai-ji temple in 1270 (Bun'ei 7th). The original pagoda was designated as the national treasure and owned by the Saidai-ji temple. The gilt-bronze pagoda played as a central role of the worship of the relic and become also a model the pagoda in the later period. There were no artifacts found from the inside of this pagoda.
