The vermilion imprint of a seal reading Zenkō which seems to be the name of the sponsor, gives this copy of the Zōichiagonkyō and others with the same seal their alternative name, Zenkō shuinkyō (Sutras with the vermilion seal of Zenkō). The note of confirmation at the end of the scroll identifies the copyist, editor and mounter of the scroll. The copyist, responsible for the elegantly fluid calligraphy, was the scribe with the lengthy name of Nakatomi no Muraya no Muraji Takatori.
