This Esoteric Buddhist implement was excavated from the summit of Mt. Misen (elevation 1895 meters) in the depths of the Yoshino area. The tip of the prong is shaped like a barbed arrowhead; it is similar to the type classified as the archaic style of the "angry three-pronged vajra" (Jpn. funnugata sankosho). Although it is slight, the entire surface is gilded.
