Kakuzensho is a collection of esoteric Buddhist iconography compiled from the late-Heian to early-Kamakura period by Kakuzen, a monk of the Shingon school who specialized in collecting esoteric iconography. This scroll was copied by Raiken. It is one of over one-hundred fascicles in the collection and records lore about the ritual for subduing enemies, chobuku-ho, in which Gōzanze Myōō (S. Trailokya-vijaya) is the main object of worship.
