This hanging plaque is in the shape of a mirror with a handle. On the wooden surface of the mirror, finely incised images have been filled with white pigment to represent male and female deities as well as deities in the guise of monks. The ink inscription on the reverse reveals that this item was produced near the end of the Edo period, the final period of the production of such votive plaques.
