This work is a replica of the lacquered drum frame in the Shōsō-in Treasure Repository. It was made in the almost same measurement. The artisan, Kitamura Kyūsai (1875-1959) played an important role of producing replica and restoring the treasures from the Shōsō-in with his elder brother Yoshida Rissai (1867-1935).
