The kongōban are arranged atop an altar and serve as tray on which a five-pronged vajra bell, a five-pronged vajra pestle, a three-pronged vajra pestle and a single-pronged vajra pestle are set. This cast bronze tray with a design of four leaves sits on three short legs in the shape of those of a beast. On the reverse side of the tray is finely etched inscription that seems to refer to the donor.
