This is a portion of a written report on the materials used in building the Saikondō hall at Kōfuku-ji temple. The Saikondō hall was sponsored by Empress Kōmyō in 733 (Tenpyō 5) and completed the following year. The original ledger was a lengthy document, but the paper was cut up for use as backing for other documents and has thus the report been preserved as a fragment.
