This style ewer has a turnip shaped base and long neck. Judging from the sense of volume and the fact it was cast as a single piece together with the base, one might imagine that this ewer was produced in Tang China, but on the basis of the characteristic of the lead composition, it appears to have been made on the Korean peninsula. The inlay on the body is likely to have been a later addition.
