For wheelchair users

A total of 10 wheelchairs including some with adjustable height are available at both the Nara Buddhist Sculpture Hall and the New Wings. Please ask the staff if you need to use a wheelchair.
To move around different levels, you can make use of the elevator. Please feel free to ask any of the nearby staff to help operate the elevator, or call for assistance using the intercom. place
There are accessible restrooms located on the first floor of the New East Wing and the lower level passage. place

For visitors with infants

A baby cradle for changing diapers can be found next to the restroom at the New East Wing.
A baby seat is also available in the accessible restrooms.

Entry with assistance dogs

Visitors can enter the Museum with a guide dog or service dog.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a medical equipment that is used to deliver electrical shocks to the heart to restore the regular rhythm when its fails to pump blood due to heart spasms (ventricular fibrillation).
An AED is located at the entrance on the first floor of the New Wing as well as the east entrance of the Nara Buddhist Sculpture Hall.
